NHL: Minnesota 5, Dallas 2

ST. PAUL, Minn., Jan. 22 (UPI) -- Dany Heatley logged a 3-point night with a goal and two assists Saturday, elevating the Minnesota Wild to a 5-2 victory over Dallas.

Heatley helped out on a pair of tallies during a big second period -- in which Minnesota scored four times to put the game away -- and iced the victory with the Wild's fifth goal in the final frame.

Devin Setoguchi added a marker and an assist to help Minnesota win for just the third time in 10 games.

Josh Harding earned the victory by turning aside 23 shots.

The Stars, meanwhile, continued to struggle, dropping their fifth straight.

Philip Larsen and Eric Nystrom found the net and Kari Lehtonen allowed four goals on 19 shots in Dallas' loss.
