BOSTON, Jan. 18 (UPI) -- Rajon Rondo scored 21 points Wednesday before leaving the game with a wrist injury in the third quarter of the Boston Celtics' easy 96-73 win over Toronto.
Rondo, who made 7-of-8 shots from the field, took a hard foul from Linas Kleiza on a layup attempt. He was sprawled on the court for several minutes before finally getting to his feet with the help of trainers.
Rondo then made 1-of-2 free throws and headed to the locker room.
Boston halted a five-game skid, getting 15 points and seven rebounds from Kevin Garnett.
Toronto, which has lost six straight, shot 37 percent from the floor and was led by Gary Forbes with 18 points.
