NBA: Golden State 99, Detroit 91

AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Jan. 15 (UPI) -- David Lee and Monta Ellis combined for 46 points Sunday and Golden State notched its first road win of the season with a 99-91 verdict over Detroit.

Lee netted 24 points and Ellis added 22 to lead a parade of six Warriors scoring in double figures.

Brandon Rush chipped in 12 points and Dorell Wright had 11, while Nate Robinson and Ekpe Udoh each provided 10 for Golden State.

Greg Monroe pumped in 25 points and hauled down eight rebounds, but it wasn't enough to prevent the Pistons' seventh loss in eight games.

Detroit also got 20 points from Tayshaun Prince.
