NHL: Chicago 5, Columbus 2

CHICAGO, Jan. 10 (UPI) -- Viktor Stalberg got his first career hat trick and Corey Crawford came up with 32 saves Tuesday in the Chicago Blackhawks' 5-2 win over Columbus.

Dave Bolland and Ben Smith scored for the Blackhawks, who stopped a four-game losing streak and beat the Blue Jackets for the fourth straight time this season -- and for the eighth time in their last 10 games.

Curtis Sanford gave up four goals on 24 Chicago shots. R.J. Umberger and Antoine Vermette scored for the Blue Jackets, who lost for the 10th time in 12 games in their first outing under interim Coach Todd Richards.
