NBA: Chicago 111, Minnesota 100

MINNEAPOLIS, Jan. 10 (UPI) -- Derrick Rose pumped in 31 points and Luol Deng added 21 Tuesday in the Chicago Bulls' 111-100 victory over Minnesota.

Rose sank four 3-pointers, going 12-of-22 from the field, as the Bulls improved to 9-2 to start the season. Deng hauled down 11 rebounds.

Ronnie Brewer finished with 17 points and Kyle Korver added 13 off the bench in Chicago's win.

Kevin Love provided 20 points and 13 rebounds for his 10th straight double-double to begin the season for Minnesota.

Luke Ridnour put in 22 points, while Ricky Rubio contributed 13 and 12 assists as the Timberwolves fell to 3-7.
