BOSTON, Jan. 5 (UPI) -- Patrice Bergeron and Nathan Horton both scored twice Thursday in Boston's biggest offensive outburst of the season, leading the Bruins past Calgary 9-0.

Boston added four goals in the second, Bergeron producing his first and Horton getting both of his before Irving was finally replaced by Miikka Kiprusoff.

Irving made his fourth NHL start. He had given up seven goals in his previous three appearances.

The shutout went to backup goaltender Tuukka Rask, his third of the season in 13 starts. He has 11 shutouts in his five-year career.
