NHL: Toronto 7, Tampa Bay 3

TORONTO, Jan. 3 (UPI) -- Joffrey Lupul had a goal and three assists Tuesday in the Toronto Maple Leafs' 7-3 rout of Tampa Bay.

Matt Frattin, Dion Phaneuf and Mikhail Grabovski added a goal and a helper apiece as Toronto tied a season-high for goals in a game.

Jonas Gustavsson helped the Leafs snap a three-game losing streak with 19 saves.

Tampa Bay goalie Mathieu Garon lasted until midway through the second period when he was pulled after yielding four goals on 21 shots. Dwayne Roloson let in three goals on 21 shots.

Pavel Kubina and Vincent Lecavalier scored while Steven Stamkos added his league-leading 27th goal for the Bolts.
