WASHINGTON, Jan. 1 (UPI) -- Rajon Rondo scored 18 points, handed out 14 assists and grabbed 11 rebounds Sunday in the Boston Celtics' 94-86 win over Washington.
Rando's triple-double complemented 24 points and nine boards from Kevin Garnett in Boston's win.

The Celtics took the first of a home-and-home series with help from Ray Allen, who scored 13 points.
John Wall netted 19 and Nick Young added 18 for the Wizards, who remained winless after four games.
