NBA: Detroit 96, Indiana 88

AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Dec. 31 (UPI) -- Detroit's Jonas Jerebko scored 20 points and Greg Monroe added 19 Saturday in the Pistons' first win of the year, a 96-88 victory over Indiana.

Jerebko pulled down 12 rebounds and Monroe grabbed 11 as the Pistons (1-3) got their first win under new Coach Lawrence Frank.

Ben Gordon contributed 16 points, and Rodney Stuckey added 15, seven rebounds and seven assists for the victors.

Indiana, meanwhile, suffered its first defeat after starting the season with three straight wins.

George Hill and Tyler Hansbrough each had 16 points and five rebounds for the Pacers.
