NHL: Tampa Bay 4, Montreal 3

TAMPA, Fla., Dec. 29 (UPI) -- Vincent Lecavalier scored the last of three unanswered Tampa Bay goals Thursday that brought the Lightning from behind for a 4-3 win over Montreal.

Tampa Bay has won two in a row and will be looking for its first three-game winning streak in almost two months when it hosts Carolina New Year's Eve.

Montreal had a 3-1 lead with time winding down in the second period, but James Wyman started the rally by scoring with 2:22 left in the stanza. It was Wyman's first career goal in his sixth NHL game.

Marc-Andre Bergeron tied it 2:32 into the third and Lecavalier won it with his 13th goal of the season.

Steven Stamkos gave Tampa Bay the early lead with his league-leading 23rd goal of the campaign, but Montreal moved in front on goals by Mike Cammalleri, David Desharnais and Erik Cole.

Mathieu Garon picked up the win with 31 saves. Carey Price allowed all four Tampa Bay goals on 22 shots.
