MEMPHIS, Dec. 28 (UPI) -- Kevin Durant scored four of his 32 points in the final 35 seconds Wednesday, allowing the Oklahoma City Thunder to hold on for a 98-95 win over Memphis.
Durant's jumper gave Oklahoma City a four-point cushion with 35 seconds left and he made two free throws with 2 seconds to go.
Oklahoma City overcame an 0-for-13 shooting performance by Russell Westbrook to win for the third time in as many games this season.
Wednesday's meeting was a rematch of last year's Western Conference semifinals, won by the Thunder in seven games.
James Harden scored 20 points off the bench for Oklahoma City, which led by 10 early in the fourth quarter before the Grizzles put on a late charge.
