TORONTO, Dec. 28 (UPI) -- Danny Granger's clutch 3-pointer with 1:17 to play Wednesday helped Indiana fight off a Toronto comeback and boost the Pacers past the Raptors 90-85.
Indiana has won its first two games of the season, the only team in the Central Division to do so.
The Pacers owned a 13-point lead early in the fourth quarter but Toronto closed within two when Andrea Bargnani hit a layup and free throw with 1:35 remaining.
Granger answered with his long-range shot and Toronto came no closer than three the rest of the way.
DeMar DeRozan's layup closed the Toronto deficit to 88-85 with 5 seconds to go, but Darren Collison's two foul shots clinched the victory with 2 seconds left.
Granger led the Pacers with 21 points and eight rebounds. Paul George added 18 points for Indiana, hitting 4-of-7 from 3-point range, while David West had 14.
The Pacers have won their opening two games for the first time in three years.
DeRozan led the Raptors with 22 points and Bargnani scored 21, all of them coming in the second half. Toronto has split its first two games of the campaign.
