The eighth-seeded Grizzlies shocked the Spurs to win that six-game series.
San Antonio's Tim Duncan played just 21 minutes after being saddled with foul trouble, finishing with 10 points and six rebounds.
Rudy Gay, who missed last year's playoffs with a shoulder injury, notched 19 points and 10 rebounds in his return to the Grizzlies' lineup.
