Curtis Glencross scored Calgary's other goal and Miika Kiprusoff turned in a 29-save performance, including 13 saves in the second period.

Josh Harding made 28 saves but the Wild only managed one goal, by Pierre-Marc Bouchard, en route to their fifth consecutive loss.

Bouchard's backhander in the first period tied the score 1-1 but Iginla managed to flip the puck past Harding during a scramble in front of the net for his 497th career goal.
