DUBAI, United Arab Emirates, Dec. 11 (UPI) -- Alvaro Quiros picked up his sixth European Tour championship Sunday at the Dubai World Championship where Luke Donald also wrapped up the money-list title.

Quiros had a final-hole eagle in a 5-under-par 67 Sunday and a two-stroke victory over Paul Lawrie. Quiros finished at 19-under 269 for 72 holes while Lawrie, whose 18th-hole birdie completed a round of 67, was at 17-under.

Luke Donald finished with three consecutive birdies -- as he also did Friday -- en route to a 6-under 66 and wound up third at 16-under. That allowed him to seal the money-list title on the European Tour with a season total of $5.8 million. He piled up $6.68 million on the PGA Tour and is the first player to lead both money lists in the same year.

Peter Hanson (67 Sunday) was fourth five strokes behind Quiros and Charl Schwartzel (67) finished fifth at 13-under.

Quiros opened Sunday's play with three consecutive birdies but played the rest of the front nine in 1-over with three bogeys and fifth- and seventh-hole birdies.

He settled down on the final nine with four pars before getting a birdie at No. 14 and then three more pars. He sealed the win with a 50-foot putt for eagle at the par-5, 620-yard 18th. He had two eagles and two bogeys at the 18th for the week.

It was his sixth European Tour win over the second this year in Dubai. He won the Dubai Desert Classic in February.
