CALGARY, Alberta, Dec. 11 (UPI) -- Miikka Kiprusoff logged his second shutout and Jarome Iginla scored twice Saturday in the Calgary Flames' 3-0 victory over Edmonton.
Kiprusoff turned aside all nine shots he faced in the final period, registering his 42nd career whitewash and backstopping the Flames to an eighth straight win over their provincial rivals.

Iginla scored with 16 seconds remaining in the second period, 6 minutes after Tom Kostopoulos had given Calgary a 1-0 lead with a power-play marker.
Iginla added an empty-netter for the Flames, who improved to 14-13-2 with their sixth win in eight games overall.
Devan Dubnyk turned aside 31-of-33 for the Oilers, who remained winless at the Saddledome since Oct. 17, 2008.
