DALLAS, Dec. 6 (UPI) -- The Miami Marlins, already active in the free-agent market, offered a 10-year offer to slugger Albert Pujols, multiple reports indicated Tuesday.

The Marlins have already signed former New York Mets shortstop Jose Reyes and former San Diego Padres reliever Heath Bell. ESPN said the monetary value of the long-term contract offer for Pujols likely hinges on whether the St. Louis Cardinals all-star first baseman would accept a no-trade clause.

The broadcaster said the Marlins did not grant a no-trade clause to Reyes, who signed a six-year, $106 million deal this week.

Marlins' executives met with Pujols' agent, Dan Lozano, for a second day at baseball's winter meetings in Dallas but did not comment afterward, MLB.com reported.

The Web site said the dollar amount is believed to be more than $200 million -- more than the nine-year, $195 million offer the 2011 world champion Cardinals put in front of Pujols during spring training.
