NHL: New York Islanders 5, Tampa Bay 1

UNIONDALE, N.Y., Dec. 6 (UPI) -- Matt Moulson and John Tavares each had a goal and an assist Tuesday, propelling the New York Islanders to a 5-1 win over Tampa Bay.

Matt Martin and Milan Jurcina also scored while David Ullstrom added his first NHL goal for the Islanders, who improved to 4-0-1 in their last five games.

Al Montoya turned aside 23-of-24 shots for New York.

Martin St. Louis got the only goal for Tampa Bay, which equaled a season-high five-game losing streak.

Mathieu Garon stopped 29-of-35 shots for the Lightning.
