NHL: New York Rangers 4, Tampa Bay 2

TAMPA, Fla., Dec. 3 (UPI) -- Derek Stepan scored the go-ahead goal with 3:19 remaining in the third period Saturday and the streaking New York Rangers beat Tampa Bay 4-2.

The Lightning's Mathieu Garon made an acrobatic save on Artem Anisimov's wrap-around try following a face-off, but the puck came free in the crease where Stepan blasted it home to break a 2-2 tie.
