SEVILLE, Spain, Dec. 3 (UPI) -- The doubles team of David Nalbandian and Eduardo Schwank came through with a win Saturday that kept Argentina alive in the Davis Cup finals against Spain.
Their straight-set 6-4, 6-2, 6-3 victory over Feliciano Lopez and Fernando Verdasco means Sunday's reverse singles will determine who wins the cup.
Schwank and Nalbandian dominated Saturday's clay-court doubles match. The Argentines chalked up five service breaks and were not broken themselves.
"We played a great game," said Nalbandian. "We're in very good shape, and the series is still alive."
Spain is seeking its fourth Davis Cup in the past 11 years while Argentina is after its first ever.
