LOS ANGELES, Nov. 29 (UPI) -- Jonathan Quick registered his league-leading fourth shutout of the year Monday and the Los Angeles Kings blanked San Jose 2-0.
Quick turned aside all 33 shots he saw, including 13 in the third period, and improved to 10-6-0 on the season for the Kings, who won for the second time in five games.

Ethan Moreau notched an unassisted goal 8:37 into the game to give Los Angeles all the offense it would need and Mike Richards added his 11th of year in the middle frame.
Antti Niemi made 31 saves for the Sharks, who dropped a second consecutive contest after their four-game winning streak was snapped Saturday with a 3-2 loss to Vancouver.
