NHL: Buffalo 5, Columbus 1

COLUMBUS, Ohio, Nov. 25 (UPI) -- Two goals by Rick Nash Friday kept the Columbus Blue Jackets on a roll Friday with a 5-1 victory over Buffalo.

The Blue Jackets have won only six times this season, but three of those wins have come in their last four games. The one loss in that stretch came in a shootout against New Jersey.

Columbus scored the first four goals, getting tallies from Mark Letestu and Nash in the first period.

Marc Methot and R.J. Umberger boosted the lead in the second and, after Jordan Leopold scored for Buffalo, Nash added his seventh of the season with 5:53 left in the middle period.

Curtis Sanford captured the win with 28 saves.

Jhonas Enroth allowed four goals on 18 shots before being removed in favor of Drew MacIntyre. Buffalo has lost three out of four.
