NHL: Edmonton 6, Nashville 2

NASHVILLE, Nov. 22 (UPI) -- Jordan Eberle and Shawn Horcoff both scored twice Tuesday to lead the Edmonton Oilers to a 6-2 win over Nashville.

Eberle also tallied an assist in the victory, which brightened a stretch in which the Oilers had lost five out of six games. Both Eberle and Horcoff scored in a three-goal first period as did Ales Hemsky, who played in his 500th career NHL game.

Devan Dubnyk, who enjoyed a 4-0 lead in the second period, made 30 saves in the win.

The rough start forced Pekka Rinne out of the Nashville goal after the first period. Rinne allowed three goals on 13 shots before being lifted for Anders Lindback, who allowed three goals on 19 shots.

Jordin Tootoo had a goal and an assist for the Preds, who have lost their last two. Jonathon Blum scored as well.
