NFL: Denver 17, New York Jets 13

DENVER, Nov. 18 (UPI) -- Tim Tebow ended a 95-yard drive by running 20 yards for a touchdown with 58 seconds left Thursday, giving Denver a 17-13 win over the New York Jets.

Tebow helped create another magical Denver victory, winning for the fourth time in five starts since taking over the quarterback position.

He completed only 9-of-20 passes for 104 yards, but he lifted the Broncos (5-5) to their third straight win and brought them within a half game of AFC West-leading Oakland. The Raiders will meet Minnesota Sunday.

Last week, Tebow completed just two passes, but one of them went for a late touchdown that gave the Broncos a victory at Kansas City.

New York's Mark Sanchez was good on 24-of-40 passes for 252 yards, but he threw an interception in the third quarter that Andre' Goodman returned 26 yards for a touchdown that tied the score at 10-10.

Nick Folk put the Jets in front with a 45-yard field goal that came with 9:14 to play.

The Jets regained the ball with 7:26 to go, but they could not pick up a first down and punted the ball away with 5:54 remaining. Denver took over at its own 5-yard line and Tebow either threw the ball or ran with it on every play of the 12-play drive.

He gained 15 yards on one scramble to his own 28, gained 7 yards on a third-and-1 play from his own 37 and scooted 9 yards on first down to take the ball into New York territory.

His winning run came on a dash around left end on third-and-4.

Sanchez then drove the Jets to the Denver 44-yard line before running out of time. The Jets lost their second straight and fell to 5-5.
