NHL: Tampa Bay 4, Pittsburgh 1

TAMPA, Fla., Nov. 17 (UPI) -- Vincent Lecavalier scored twice Thursday and Dwayne Roloson took a shutout deep into the third period in boosting Tampa Bay to a 4-1 win over Pittsburgh.

It was the sixth straight home win for the Lightning, who have dropped only one home contest all season.

Lecavalier ran his goal total for the year to eight, scoring on a backhander midway through the first period and putting one into an empty net with 4:11 to play in the third.

The second Lecavalier goal gave the Lightning a 4-0 lead and Roloson lost his shutout when Tyler Kennedy scored on a slap shot with 3:11 remaining.

Brett Connolly and Steve Downie also scored for Tampa Bay.

Roloson made 33 saves. Pittsburgh's Marc-Andre Fleury gave up three goals on only 17 shots.
