NHL: Chicago 5, Vancouver 1

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Nov. 17 (UPI) -- Andrew Brunette and Patrick Kane rallied Chicago from an early deficit with second-period goals Wednesday and the Blackhawks rolled over Vancouver 5-1.

Chicago became the first team in the NHL with a dozen victories this year, winning its fourth in a row.

Jannik Hansen gave the Canucks the lead 38 seconds into the middle period, but the Blackhawks dominated from there, grounded by the goaltending of Corey Crawford.

Brunette and Kane both scored on the power play, Kane's goal coming with 9:22 to go in the second. Jonathan Toews, Patrick Sharp and Steve Montador added third-period goals. It was the 10th of the season for Toews and his fifth in the last four games.

Crawford improved to 9-4 this year by making 28 saves. Cory Schneider gave up all five Chicago goals on 27 shots.
