NHL: N.Y. Rangers 4, N.Y. Islanders 2

UNIONDALE, N.Y., Nov. 15 (UPI) -- Brad Richards' tie-breaking score with 4:55 remaining Tuesday proved decisive in the New York Rangers' 4-2 win over the New York Islanders.

Ryan Callahan iced the contest with an empty-netter to go along with an assist, while Sean Avery and Steve Eminger also found the net for the Rangers.

Henrik Lundqvist backstopped the Rangers to their seventh straight win with 31 saves.

The Islanders, meanwhile, lost for the 10th time in 11 games despite a goal and an assist from Frans Nielsen.

Matt Moulson also scored and Evgeni Nabokov made 26 saves in the setback.
