TORONTO, Nov. 12 (UPI) -- Nick Foligno got the game-winning goal late in the second period Saturday, helping the Ottawa Senators snap a losing skid with a 5-2 win over Toronto.
Foligno's power-play score with less than 3 minutes left in the middle frame broke a 1-1 tie and propelled the Senators to their first victory after five straight setbacks. The Toronto forward added an empty-netter.

Zack Smith notched a goal and an assist in the win.
Craig Anderson backstopped the Senators with 31 saves.
The Maple Leafs lost for the third time in five games despite markers from Joffrey Lupul and Tyler Bozak.
Rookie goalie Ben Scrivens turned aside 19 shots for Toronto.
