WR Gault's Super Bowl ring stolen

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 11 (UPI) -- The 1985 Super Bowl ring of former Chicago Bears wide receiver Willie Gault was stolen from his Los Angeles home, police said.

Police responded to a call from Gault's home Wednesday regarding the apparent theft of more than $100,000 in jewelry, TMZ reported Friday.

Gault's rep said the Super Bowl ring was among the stolen items. The ring has 40 diamonds, including a half-carat diamond in the center surrounded by 13 smaller diamonds.

Gault has asked friends and fans to keep an eye out for the ring at pawn shops and on eBay.
