GUADALAJARA, Mexico, Nov. 10 (UPI) -- LPGA Hall of Fame member Juli Inkster shot a 5-under 67 Thursday that gave her a share of the lead at the Lorena Ochoa Invitational.

Inkster, 51, is seeking the 32nd victory of her career and her first in five years. She was tied with Suzann Pettersen, ranked second in the world behind Yani Tseng.

The field consists of just 36 players in a tournament hosted by Ochoa, who was ranked No. 1 in the world before she retired from competition two years ago.

Meena Lee was alone in third at 68 while Catriona Matthew shot a 69 over the Guadalajara Country Club course to finish the day in fourth.

The crowd at 70 included Cristie Kerr, Michelle Wie, Paula Creamer, Sophie Gustafson, Maria Hjorth and Se Ri Pak. Wie, who birdied the final two holes, won this event in 2009.

Tseng struggled to a 76 and finished in front of only two players.
