FOXBOROUGH, Mass., Nov. 6 (UPI) -- Eli Manning found tight end Jake Ballard on a go-ahead scoring pass in the fourth quarter Sunday, sending the New York Giants to a 24-20 win over New England.
With 15 seconds left in the contest, Manning connected with Ballard in the left side of end zone and the Giants (6-2) downed the Patriots in the teams' first meeting since Super Bowl XLII in 2008, which the Giants also won.
The decisive score came at the end of an 80-yard drive mounted by New York only moments after Tom Brady had given New England a 20-17 advantage with a scoring strike to Rob Gronkowski.
Manning amassed 250 yards and two touchdowns.
Brady, meanwhile, tossed for 342 yards and two touchdowns for New England (5-3). But the Patriots signal-caller also committed three turnovers that led to 10 New York points.
