DETROIT, Nov. 1 (UPI) -- Devin Setoguchi scored 1:33 into overtime Tuesday, completing a Minnesota comeback in which the Wild rallied for a 2-1 win over Detroit.
Trailing 1-0 for most of the game, Minnesota pulled its goalie to add an extra attacker as time wound down. Justin Falk unleashed a wrist shot from the point that Mikko Koivu deftly deflected into the net for the equalizer with 1 minute left.
The Wild then went on a 4-on-3 power play in the extra frame when Detroit's Johan Franzen was whistled for interfering with Minnesota goalie Josh Harding.
Koivu leveled Red Wings defenseman Niklas Kronwall with a shoulder check and fed the puck to Setoguchi at the crease, who knocked in the rebound of own shot for the game-winner.
Harding stopped 36-of-37 shots and logged his second win in three days over Detroit, which was swept in a home-and-home series with Minnesota.
Niklas Lidstrom scored and Jimmy Howard made 25 saves as the struggling Red Wings lost their fifth straight.
