DENVER, Oct. 30 (UPI) -- Matthew Stafford fired three touchdown passes while racking up 267 passing yards Sunday in leading the Detroit Lions to a 45-10 rout of Denver.
Stafford shook off a sprained ankle to finish 21-of-30 through the air with no interceptions. He connected with Titus Young, Tony Scheffer and Calvin Johnson on scoring strikes.
Johnson hauled down six passes for 125 yards.
Maurice Morris added a rushing touchdown for the Lions (6-2), who bounced back from a loss last week to Atlanta.
Tim Tebow was limited to 172 yards on 18-of-39 passing with a touchdown and an interception for the Broncos (2-5).
