NHL: New Jersey 3, Los Angeles 0

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 26 (UPI) -- Dainius Zubrus scored twice and Johan Hedberg made 31 saves Tuesday in the New Jersey Devils' 3-0 whitewash of Los Angeles.

Patrik Elias added a goal in the victory, which ended the Kings' four-game winning streak and the Devils' two-game skid.

Jonathan Bernier stopped 20-of-23 shots for the Kings after getting the start in place of Jonathan Quick, who had set a Kings record with three consecutive shutouts. The Kings hit the road for three games beginning Thursday.

New Jersey scored all its goals late in the second period. Zubrus opened the scoring with a wrist shot at 13:12 and made it 3-0 with a slap shot off a turnover in the Kings zone at 18:26.
