NHL: Chicago 3, Anaheim 2 (SO)

CHICAGO, Oct. 25 (UPI) -- Patrick Kane scored the winning goal in the shootout Tuesday to give the Chicago Blackhawks a 3-2 victory over Anaheim.

Kane also had two assists in regulation to lead the Hawks to their third win in their last four outings.

Marian Hossa and Patrick Sharp scored in regulation for Chicago. Corey Crawford made 29 saves and then blocked two of Anaheim's three tries in the shootout.

Jonas Hiller made 33 saves for the Ducks, who lost their third in a row. Teemu Selanne and Ryan Getzlaf accounted for the Anaheim goals.

Anaheim led 2-1 after two periods, but Sharp tied it at 5:57 of the third with a slap from high in the slot off an assist from Kane.
