LINZ, Austria, Oct. 15 (UPI) -- Petra Kvitova rallied to beat Jelena Jankovic Saturday and advance to the finals of the Generali Ladies Linz tennis tournament in Austria.

The top-seeded Wimbledon champion dropped the first set to the former world No. 1 Jankovic but bounced back to take a 4-6, 6-4, 6-3 victory.

Kvitova will face seventh-seeded Dominika Cibulkova, who defeated Lucie Safarova 6-1, 6-4 in their Saturday semifinal match.

Kvitova had her serve broken twice in Saturday's first set but won the second set and held on after winning the first three games of the third set.

The victory came at a critical time for Kvitova, who struggled after her Wimbledon triumph in July. Sunday will be her first finals since then and the second time she has gotten past the quarterfinals.
