NHL: Dallas 4, Columbus 2

DALLAS, Oct. 15 (UPI) -- Shelton Douray broke a third-period tie Saturday and highlighted a Dallas comeback that gave the Stars a 4-2 win over Columbus.

Dallas has won four out of five to open the season and the Stars kept Columbus winless in five contests. The Blue Jackets, New York Rangers and Winnipeg are the only teams in the NHL without a victory in the young campaign.

Dallas twice fell behind by a goal, but Loui Eriksson tied it at 2-2 with 11:39 remaining in the second period.

Souray, in his first year with the Stars after spending 11 seasons with New Jersey, Montreal and Edmonton, put a slap shot past Steve Mason for the game-winner 1:36 into the third.

Michael Ryder added a power-play goal for insurance with 6:08 remaining.

Kari Lehtonen, who has started in all four Dallas victories, faced only 15 shots to get the win. He allowed goals to Vaclav Prospal and Alexandre Giroux. Mason made 29 saves.
