ARLINGTON, Texas, Oct. 9 (UPI) -- Game 2 of the American League Championship Series set for Sunday between the Texas Rangers and the Detroit Tigers has been postponed due to rain.
The contest at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington was set for 6:45 p.m. CDT, but Rangers grounds crew chief Dennis Klein cited a high chance of rain in the evening, MLB.com reported.

The third game of the series, which Texas leads 1-0, was rescheduled to 3:19 p.m. Monday.
