BOSTON, Oct. 8 (UPI) -- Rich Peverley scored twice Saturday, boosting Boston to a 4-1 win over Tampa Bay, the Bruins' rivals in last season's Eastern Conference finals.
The defending Stanley Cup champions logged their first win of the season thanks in part to two assists from Tyler Seguin. Tim Thomas turned aside 25-of-26 shots.
