NFL: Baltimore 37, St. Louis 7

ST. LOUIS, Sept. 25 (UPI) -- Rookie Torrey Smith hauled down three touchdown passes in the first quarter Sunday, pacing the Baltimore Ravens' 37-7 shellacking of St. Louis.

Joe Flacco tossed the trio of scoring strikes, going 27-of-48 through the air while racking up 389 yards.

Smith, a second-round draft choice out of Maryland, finished with five catches for 152 yards for the Ravens (2-1).

Ray Rice provided most of Baltimore's ground game, rushing for 79 yards.

The Rams (0-3), meanwhile, were shredded for 553 yards on defense.

Sam Bradford hit on 16-of-32 pass attempts for 166 yards with a TD and an interception for St. Louis.
