MLS: Chicago 3, New England 2

BRIDGEVIEW, Ill., Sept. 25 (UPI) -- Sebastian Grazzini, Dominic Oduro, and Patrick Nyarko scored first-half goals Sunday and the Chicago Fire held on for a 3-2 win over New England.

Grazzini's penalty kick goal in the 4th minute put Chicago (6-8-15) ahead to stay at 1-0.

Oduro made it 2-0 with his 11th goal of the year just 4 minutes later and Nyarko added a much-needed third tally in the 30th minute, beating Revolution goalkeeper Matt Reis with an easy chance.

The Fire trails Red Bull New York for the final wild card spot by six points.

Ryan Guy scored twice in stoppage time to make it close for New England (5-13-12).
