DETROIT, Sept. 25 (UPI) -- Miguel Cabrera's home run in the first inning ignited a four-homer attack Sunday that carried the Detroit Tigers to a 10-6 win over Baltimore.

Jhonny Peralta, Don Kelly and Victor Martinez also went deep for the American League Central champion Tigers in the finale of a four-game series.

Brad Penny (11-11) earned the victory after yielding three runs on five hits over 5 1/3 innings.

Baltimore's Brian Matusz (1-9) was roughed up for six runs on seven hits through five innings, striking out five and walking three.

Nolan Reimold cracked a three-run homer for the Orioles.
