BRIDGEVIEW, Ill., Sept. 17 (UPI) -- Dominic Oduro scored a tiebreaking goal late in the game Saturday, handing the Chicago Fire a 3-2 win over Chivas USA.
Patrick Nyarko found Oduro with a pass across the 6-yard box and the Fire forward beat the offside trap to convert an easy tap-in in the 85th minute for Chicago (5-8-15).

Corey Gibbs scored in the second minute for the Fire, which also benefitted from an own-goal by the Goats' Juan Pablo Angel.
Angel's right-way tally in the 61st minute had cut the Goats' deficit to 2-1 and Nick LaBrocca forged a tie in the next minute with another goal for Chivas (7-12-10).
