NFL: Cincinnati 27, Cleveland 17

CLEVELAND, Sept. 11 (UPI) -- A.J. Green's fourth-quarter, 41-yard touchdown grab gave Cincinnati the lead Sunday and the Bengals hung on for 27-17 victory over the Cleveland Browns.

The rookie receiver, taken fourth overall in the NFL Draft, made his first career reception a memorable one, hauling in pass from Bruce Gradkowski late in the fourth quarter for the lead.

Gradkowski, playing for injured rookie starter Andy Dalton, completed 5-of-12 passes for 92 yards.

Dalton went 10-of-15 for 81 yards and a touchdown before suffering an injured right wrist, while Cedric Benson rushed for 121 yards and a score on 25 carries for the Bengals (1-0).

The Browns (0-1) were led by Colt McCoy, who threw for 213 yards and two touchdowns with an interception, going 19-of-40 through the air.
