ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., Sept. 3 (UPI) -- B.J. Upton drove in five runs with a pair of doubles Saturday and the Tampa Bay Rays doubled up the Baltimore Orioles 6-3.
Upton's two-run double in the first inning knotted the score at 2-2 and his bases-clearing two-bagger in the fifth put the Rays up 6-2.

Matt Joyce doubled home the go-ahead run in the third for the Rays, who took the middle contest in a three-game set at Tropicana Field.
Wade Davis (9-8) earned the victory, holding the O's to three runs on five hits and four walks in a 6 2/3-inning effort. He fanned five.
O's starter Alfredo Simon (4-8) was tagged for six runs on seven hits over five frames.
Nick Markakis socked a two-run homer for Baltimore.
