CHICAGO, Aug. 30 (UPI) -- Mark Buehrle hurled 7 2/3 scoreless innings Monday and the Chicago White Sox won their fourth straight, beating Minnesota 3-0.
Buehrle (11-6) surrendered only four singles and fanned four, racking up his fifth win in his last six decisions.
Sergio Santos picked up his 27th save with a 1-2-3 ninth for the White Sox.
Tyler Flowers knocked in two runs and Dayan Viciedo went 2-for-3 with an RBI for the White Sox, who pulled to within five games of the American League Central-leading Detroit Tigers.
Minnesota's Kevin Slowey (0-3) went seven innings, allowing two runs on six hits for the Twins, who lost for the eighth time in nine games.
