NFL: New Orleans 40, Oakland 20

OAKLAND, Calif., Aug. 28 (UPI) -- Chase Daniel went 9-of-18 for 191 yards with two second-half touchdowns Sunday in New Orleans' 40-20 pre-season win over Oakland.

Daniel put the Saints ahead for good at 24-20 with 6:13 left in the third quarter, connecting with Troy Humphrey for a 3-yard score.

In the fourth, he found Adrian Arrington a 39-yard strike as the Saints scored the contest's final 23 points.

Drew Brees started for New Orleans and went 15-of-23 through the air for 189 yards while Joique Bell ran the ball six times for 50 yards.

Oakland's Jason Campbell went 12-of-17 for 150 yards, a TD and an interception. Kyle Boller and Trent Edwards each played for the Raiders in the second half.

Taiwan Jones picked up 81 yards and a TD on 13 carries, and Derek Hagen hauled down six passes for 121 yards and a score for the Raiders.
