LOS ANGELES, Aug. 28 (UPI) -- Kevin Kouzmanoff's three-run bloop double highlighted a big first inning Sunday that propelled Colorado to a 7-6 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The Rockies struck early, sending nine men to the plate in the first inning against Dodgers rookie Nathan Eovaldi (1-2) en route to a 5-0 lead -- all with two outs.

Troy Tulowitzki's single drove in Dexter Fowler with the first run of the game. Then, after Seth Smith and Ty Wigginton got aboard to load the bases, Kouzmanoff came up. He lifted a seemingly routine pop fly to right field but the Dodgers' Trent Oeltjen misjudged it and it dropped safely, allowing all three runners to score.

Kouzmanoff ended with four RBI for the Rockies, who avoided a three-game sweep.

Jhoulys Chacin (11-10) struggled through five innings to get the win, allowing four runs on six hits and five walks. He struck out six.

Tony Gwynn Jr. and Justin Sellers each had an RBI for Los Angeles.
