GRAPEVINE, Texas, Aug. 27 (UPI) -- Sabine Lisicki and Aravane Rezai posted semifinal victories Friday to set up a championship showdown at the inaugural Texas Tennis Open.
Lisicki, who was the highest-seeded player among the semifinalists at No. 5, coasted past Irina-Camelia Begu 6-0, 6-1. The match lasted only 53 minutes.

Rezai won a battle with Angelique Kerber 6-2, 3-6, 7-5 in a matchup of qualifiers.
Lisicki will be going after her second tournament triumph of the season and the third of her career. Rezai has four wins on the WTA circuit.
