Hurricane forces Marlins game to be moved

MIAMI, Aug. 23 (UPI) -- Officials in Miami, fearing problems from Hurricane Irene, moved up Thursday's game between Cincinnati and Florida a day, making it part of a doubleheader.

The Reds and Marlins were to wrap up a three-game series Thursday night but with Hurricane Irene predicted to affect the United States late in the week, the game was moved to Wednesday.
